This year’s theme for Scout Hike, “25 Years And Into The Future” included 28 scouting activities. Our Patrol Leaders received a map and a set of map coordinates which were plotted onto the map. After arriving at their designated Sleep Point on Friday night, Patrols made camp and readied themselves for the next day’s activities.
Patrols traveled the forest taking in as many of the 28 activities that the Patrol could attempt within designated time frames.
At the designated Sleep Point on Saturday the Patrols made camp, had dinner, slept and after a good breakfast, packed up and departed. Along the way to the Finish Point our scouts again attempted activities within the designated time frame.
Points are awarded on how well the Patrol works together and achieves the objectives at each Base. Scores for each activity are tallied and Gold awards are given to the top 12 patrols. 1st Leichhardt, Green Fuzzies won the silver award with 2096 points.
