Survival Camp 2019

1st Leichhardt Scouts met at Central station for a weekend camp at Waterfall.

Each scout carried to camp all their gear and food and practiced being completely sufficient over the weekend.

Scouts learn the 5 Cs of survival (cutting, cordage, combustion, cover and container). The boys remembered the 5Cs and the girls went one better by making up a song and actions for the 10 C’s.  Being the first 5 Cs plus candling, cargo tape, cloth, compass and communication device (instead of the normal cloth needle).
